KORVUE® has more security functions and monitoring than virtually any software system in
any industry. However, you should know that the employee-based security functions are
only as strong as the secrecy of a user's password. If employees share their passwords,
then users may have access to special functions and privileges you intended to prevent,
or users can perform malicious activities while logged in as another employee.
KORVUE Secure Access Cards can be used as an alternative to passwords, ensuring that only
the employee that holds the card has performed the function. Secure Access Cards also
strengthen features like the time clock functions of KORVUE, preventing someone from
clocking in without physically swiping the card.
KORVUE Secure Access Cards come in two types, to heighten the level of security in your
company. The standard orange card is the Employee Card, which is generally used by most
employees. The black card is the Admin Card, which has additional encryption and is used
by upper management. Only the Admin Card provides access to the KORVUE Admin module and
certain vital functions in KORVUE, such as creating transactions that occurred in the
past.
